Liz has a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) and a Bachelor of Laws from Monash University. Before studying law Liz was a Division 1 nurse specialising in coronary care and emergency. Liz became a partner in 2007 and is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria.

Prior to joining the firm, Liz worked for WorkSafe Victoria as a senior legal counsel managing claims agents and the legal panel in relation to impairment benefits. She was also involved in the management of common law litigation.
