Hall & Wilcox is recognised as a great place to work. In 2009, we were named by BRW as one of the BRW 50 Best Companies to Work for 2009.  The award was based on a study measuring the level of trust in the workplace, the level of pride employees have in what they do and the level of camaraderie in the workplace.

We are single office based and have a strong culture – values driven, friendly and open and this is recognised by our partners, our staff and our clients.  The firm has experienced significant growth in recent years and  we have a reputation in the market as a “firm on the rise” and are continually focussed on improving the way we do things.  Despite our growth, we have successfully maintained our ‘family atmosphere’ and a culture which embraces genuine respect amongst our people.

The firm has a demonstrated ability to attract and retain high quality people.  The key reasons we are able to do this are because of the quality of the work we do, the clients we have, the career progression and development opportunities we offer and the positive environment and atmosphere of the firm.

Whilst our people are expected to work hard, we offer a range of social functions throughout the year to provide our people with an opportunity to interact with colleagues outside the office.  We also have an active sporting committee who promote and co-ordinate participation in a wide range of sporting events including the LIV Legal Fun Run/Walk, BRW Triathlon and Corporate Games, amongst others.  As well as encouraging teamwork and interaction, this is a key part of the firm’s commitment to promoting health and well-being throughout our workplace.
