Current practice
Peter has built a sound practice, based on solid experience in:
- sales, purchases and advising on commercial property transactions;
- conduct of property and environmental due diligence;
- leasing of commercial property;
- mergers, acquisitions and dispositions of businesses and entities; and
- preparation of security documentation for banks and other lending institutions.
Clients and recent experience
Peter’s clients include APN Property Group, Drive Projects Group, RaboBank and many other companies and property developers as well as private companies and family groups. He has undertaken a wide range of transactions for these clients, including:

acting in the acquisition of a large development site in north-western Melbourne involving due diligence and contract negotiation, preparing construction contracts for the construction of a multiple warehouse/office complex on the property;

acting for a private group in relation to apartment developments including acquisition of the development site, advising on town planning issues and other construction and development issues and acting in relation to the off-the-plan sales of the apartments;

acting for the developer in the development of a significant suburban Melbourne commercial property worth approximately $35 million;

acting in the sale by a family group of its industrial property portfolio for $120 million;
-
acting for the vendor of an Australia-wide portfolio of in excess of 40 leased commercial properties worth in excess of $300 million; and
-
advising in relation to the structuring of, and negotiating all documents for, co-venture agreements between a private client and his listed company co-venturer for the development of residential subdivisions.
Qualifications and personal affiliations
Peter has a Bachelor of Economics and a Bachelor of Laws from Monash University. He became a partner in 2000.
Peter is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria, the Property Council of Australia and Family Business Australia.
