Clients and recent experience Matthew acts for a number of major insurers in relation to a broad range of liability claims (including liability stemming from property damage, personal injuries, product defects and professional negligence). These clients include Allianz Australia Insurance, QBE Insurance and Insurance Australia Group. Matthew is a trusted adviser to these clients.   Matthew assists his insurer clients and a number of commercial clients to recover debts and enforce claims. His recovery practice is built on large, complex claims stemming from accidents and disasters but also on a high volume of smaller, straightforward claims and debts. Qualifications and personal affiliations Matthew has a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from Monash University. He became partner in 2006. Matthew is a member of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) and he sits on the ANZIF Claims Discussion Group Committee. He regularly presents seminars and workshops for his clients, the insurance industry and professional service providers. He is also a member of the Australian Insurance Law Association and the Law Institute of Victoria.
